Show Local Couple Are Wed At Los Angeles s THE FIREMEN'S AUX. WAS ENTERTAINED at the home of Mrs. Loyd Bird on Monday night. The group enjoyed a tasty lunch and cards. Prizes for 'the games were won by Mrs. Leona Wilson and Mrs. Rowena Rigtrup. Others present included Mrs. Eva White, Mrs. Lucille Smith, Mrs. Noma Thorpe, Mrs. Stella Straw, Mrs. Loraine Beach, and Mrs. Eileen Bird. MRS. JANICE TAYLOR WAS HOSTESS to members of the Junior auxiliary at the home of her mother, Mrs. Lawrence Clark, on Monday evening. eve-ning. A delightful time was spent with games and the exchange of Christmas gifts and in conclusion a nicely arranged lunch was served serv-ed to about 16 members in attendance. j Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Peirce of this city wish to announce the marriage of their daughter, Naomi, Na-omi, to Earl McKenzie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen McKenzie, which took place on Monday, December 15, at Los Angeles, Calif. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Woodruff Medley at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe E. Davis. Miss Irene Bird of Mapleton Maple-ton was maid of honor and Burnis Watts of Springville was best man. The bride was charmingly gowned gown-ed in a biege tailored suit with black accessories and wore an orchid or-chid corsage. " Mr. and Mrs. McKenzie will make their home in Los Angeles, where Mr. McKenzie is employed at the Lockheed Aircraft factory. The bride and groom were graduates gra-duates of the local high school and Mrs. McKenzie was also clerk at the high school for some time. She was recently employed as bookkeeper book-keeper at the Eddington Canning company. |
