FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR MOTHER OF LOCAL DENTIST . Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ellen Ekins Holdaway, 66, mother of Dr. Reed Holdaway of this city, who died of pneumonia Tuesday night at a Provo hospital, will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p. m., in the Vineyard ward chapel. Friends may call at the Quist Mortuary in Provo, Thursday and at the family residence at Vineyard Vine-yard before the services. Burial will be in the Provo City cemetery. Mrs. Holdaway held many positions posi-tions of responsibility in church and civic work in Vineyard where she had made her home throughout through-out her life. Her husband, Elmer T. Holdaway, died suddenly while visiting in Montpelier, Idoha, in 1936. Besides Dr. Holdaway, she leaves two other sons and two daughters, also a sister and two brothers.
