Show Funeral Services Saturday for Mrs. Gottfredson Funeral services will be conducted conduc-ted Saturday at 1 p.m., in the 5th ward chapel, for Mrs. Ina Jane Gottfredson, who died Wednesday of a lingering illness, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Carver in Springville. Bishop J. Y. Bearnson Bearn-son will be in charge. Friends may call at the Claudin Funeral home from 7 p.m., to 9 p.m., Friday, and at the family residence, 369 East Fourth South street, before the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Gottfredson was born in Mt. Pleasant, March 16, 1884, a daughter of Samuel L. and Louisa Giles B u 1 k 1 e y. She moved to Springville at an early age and has lived here since. She attended schools in Springville and has been active in LDS church work. Mrs. Gottfredson served many years as a Relief Society teacher and was also historian in Camp Sierra Bonita, DUP. She was married to Thomas Gabbitas in 1908. He died in 1939 and in 1942, she was married to Ed Gottfredson in the Manti LDS temple. He died in December, '46. Surviving are five sons and daughters, Thomas Floyd Gabbitas of Springville; Leonard J. Gabbitas Gabbi-tas of Provo; Mrs. Frank (Virginia) (Vir-ginia) Carver, Springville; Mrs. Austin (Edna) Bissell of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Rita Scott, Springville; also 15 grandchildren; three brothers, bro-thers, Alfred Bulkley, Springville; Ellis Bulkley, Helper; Lloyd Bulkley, Bul-kley, Maywood, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren. |
