Show G. C. DALLIN PASSES AWAY Funeral services for George Calvin Dallin, 73, lifelong resident resi-dent of this city, who died Sunday Sun-day at the family residence. South Fourth East street, will be held today, at 2 p. m. in the First ward chapel with burial in the City cemetery, under direction of Claudin funeral home. Mr. Dallin was born here, September Sep-tember 10, 1860, a son of Tobias and Catherine Montgomery j Dallin, early pioneers. He has i followed the occupation of farmer j practically all his life. I Mr. Dallin has always been active ac-tive in church work and was a member of the high priest's quorum quor-um at the time of his death. He served as a member of the old folks committee for many years. He was well known for his amiable disposition and in years past he was ever present at old time dances where he was known as the official caller. He was married to Juliet Lowe in 1894 in the Manti temple. Surviving are his widow and 3 sons. Glen L. and Reed L. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bertrum Dallin, Springville; 4 grandchildren grand-children and a brother, Stephan Dallin, Springville. |
