This test is open to public observation in accordance with the provisions of Section 20A-3-201, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended (the "Utah Code"). NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Thursday, June 4T 2009, at 9:00 ajn., in the Board Room of the School District office, located at 350 South Main Street, in Spanish Fork, Utah, there will be conducted a test of the automatic tabulating equipment or other apparatus to be used to tabulate the results of the June 23,2009 special voted leeway election to be held in the School District on the question of authorizing a voted leeway annual tax to maintain a state-supported voted leeway program. This test is open to public observation in accordance with the provisions of Section 20A-4-104, Utah Code. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on Wednesday, July 1,2009, that being a day no sooner than 7 days and not later than 14 days after the special voted leeway election, the Board of Education of the School District will meet at 350 South Main Street, in Spanish Fork, Utah, at 5:00 pjn. and will canvass the returns and declare the results and will canvass the returns and declare the results of the special voted leeway election. Voting at the special voted leeway election shall be by electronic ballots and other ballot forms. The ballots will be furnished by the Business Administrator of the Board of Education (the "Board") of the School District (the "Election Officer"), on behalf of the Board, to the poll workers. The poll workers shall furnish such ballots to the qualified electors of the School District. In order to vote at the election, you must present valid voter identification to the poll worker before voting, which must be (a) a valid form of photo identification that shows your name and photograph or (b) two different forms of identification that show your name and current address. FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT VOTED LEEWAY TAX The polls' at each polling place shall open at 7:00 a.m. and shall remain open until 8:00 pjn., when they will close. There is to be no special registration of voters for the special voted leeway election, and the official register of voters last made or revised shall constitute the register for the special voted leeway election, except that the County Clerk of Utah County (the "County Clerk") shall register any person who on the day of the special voted leeway election will be a qualified elector, as provided by law. The County Clerk will make registration lists or copies of such lists available at each of the above-described polling places for use by registered electors entitled to use such voting place. Any eligible voter who is hospitalized or otherwise confined to a medical or long-term care institution after the deadline for filing an application for an absentee ballot may obtain an absentee ballot by sending another person to obtain an absentee ballot application, the absentee ballot and an absentee ballot envelope ox\ his or her behalf at the office of the Election Officer. The Election Officer will require the person to sign a statement identifying himself or herself and the hospitalized voter. To be valid, the application and the sealed absentee ballot envelope containing the voted ballot .must be returned to the Election Officer's office before the close of the polls on election day. Military Personnel and Citizens Living Abroad. Applications for absentee ballots for military voters living in the United States must be filed with the Election Officer no later than June 19, 2009, the Friday before election day. Military personnel voting an absentee ballot at the Election Officers office must apply and cast their ballot no later than Monday, June 22,2009, the day before election day. Military voters stationed overseas and overseas citizen voters must file an application for absentee ballot with the Election Officer no later than June 3,2009,20 days before election day.
