Clyde, Utah's first lady, was honored guest at a tea Monday, at the home of Mrs. A, V. Feight, 1930 East 4500 South. The beautifully appointed tea was sponsored by the Holladay Women's Republican Study Group. Mrs. Shirley Jensen, Mrs. Doug-las Pack, Mrs. Richards, presi-dent, and Mrs. Joseph Gunderson, were there to greet the first lady. The hostesses for the day were Mrs. George Huntsman and Mrs. Feight. Other guests included Mrs Alex Jex national Republican committee-woma- n; Mrs. Hazel Taggert Chase, president of the Utah State Federation of Repub-lican Women and Mrs. Ruth Mum-for- d Smith, district chairman of Utah Federation of Republican Women. The club members were told of the inauguration of President Ei-senhower by Mrs. Clyde Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Jex. Cupids and hearts were used in the traditional Valentine "motif for the decor for the event. Dance Set For Country Club The newly organized Riviera Club will hold its first dance on Saturday, Feb 16, at Meadowbrook Country Club. A Sweetheart Motif has been planned with favors for all the ladies. The Club is a private dancing organization which will meet on the third Saturday of each month for dinner-dancin- g. The Board of Directors for the first six months are Mr. and Mrs. Al Dexter, Jr., Mf. and Mrs. Dwight F. Walton, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Jack P.
