They left Monday for a weeks va-cation in California with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Carter and Grandmother, Mrs. B. M. Mendenhall. They flew to Disneyland and then on to La-jo- ia Beach. Mr. Carter is combin-ing business with pleasure. Wilford Stake Gold & Green Ball Everybody is talking about the Wilford Stake Gold and Green Ball, to be held Saturday at the new Union Building on the Univer-sity campus. They are using the decorations that will be used for the Junior Prom the preceeding night. Tickets may be purchased from any of the Wilford Stake M.I.A. officers. Holladay Community Church Jrs. Feted The Junior High Youth group of the Holladay Community Church, met at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Macon Cowles, February 10th, at 5:00 P. M. Refreshments, games and sing-ing were enjoyed by the 35 boys and girls that were present. Mr. Wayne Heath, accepted the position as sponsor of the youth group. Evergreen P-T- A Holds Meeting Members of the Evergreen Jr. High PT--A enjoyed a very inter-esting meeting Thursday evening, February 7. Mr. Gale Rose, Re-gional Director, for the U.E.A., was the speaker for their founders day program. His subject was Sen-ate Bill No. 11, which is of inter-est to all. Music for the evening was presented by a mixed chorus from the school and the "Fiddlers Club."
