Mr. and Mrs. Candlaud will he al home, after Julv 15, at 2so. 1 Kendall terrace. Coming Events. The two largest affairs of the coming week will bo the charity card parties. Tho first will be given at the Country club. Monday afternoon, for the benefit of St. Mark's hosnital. A number of private parties will be given there for thf sake of sweet charity. Anyone who wishes to reserve tables can do so bv notifying Mrs. William Igleheart. Those on the reception eommittee are Mrs W. C. Jennings. Mrs. W. P. Kiser, and Mrs. W. Y. Rice. The refreshments are in charge of Mrs. C. R. Poarsall and Mrs J. R Galligher. The clubhouse is in charge of Mrs. F. S. Bascom, Mrs. I?. C. Gcmmell and Mrs, V. rglchcart. Mrs. W. Y. Rice has charge of the prizes, and Mrs F. L. Oswald of the score cards. Tho party promises to be a very successful affair. On Saturday afternoon, June 27, a charity party will be given for the benefit 01 Canyon Crest, at the home of Mrs. W. Y. Rice, which will be thrown open for this worthy cause. Parties are to be made up for the tables, which will be reserved at ?5 each. About half of Mho number has already been sold. One of the charitable ladies of the city paid for a number of tables and then said they might bo resold. At 4:30 o'clock the gentlemen are to come in to tea, Mrs. Rice will be assisted by a number of the charitable women of the city. Affairs of the Week. Mrs. William D. Foster and Miss Adams entertained a number of their friends Saturday afternoon between tho hours of 3 and C 0 'clock, in honor . of Mrs. Frederic B, Davidson, a Juno bride, and Mrs. C S, Morrison of Colorado Colo-rado Springs, who is visiting here. The rooms were effectively decorated with roses, the parlors being white, with ferns, the library with red, and tho dining-room with' pink. A white luce cover over pink satin with pink satin ribbons draped from -the chandelier to the four corners. Mrs. C. C. Crismon, Mrs. George G. Badger, Mrs. William V. Ra and Miss Martin poured tea and cofi'ee. assisted by Miss Kar.herine Adams, Miss Frances Cowan and Miss I?uby Laiubourne. Punch was served on the "veranda by Mrs. Elbridge Thomas and Miss Eleanor Park. The Quests were received at the door by little Dora Thomas. V Mrs. P. O, Perkins entertained fifty children at a picnic at Liberty park, Saturday afternoon, for the third birthday birth-day of "her little daughter. Betty, Mrs. Perkins was assisted by Mrs. W. M. McCrea, Mrs. O'Connor. Mrs. Diekert, Mrs. J. G, Sawyer, Miss Diekert and the Misses McDonald. Mrs. E. A. Rogers entertained five tables at five hundred Saturday afternoon, after-noon, in honor of Miss Delia limes. The rooms were prettily decorated with red and pink roses. Mrs. Rogers was as- sisted by Mrs. George Smith Bell. Prizes were won bv the guest of honor aud Mrs. Clayton R. Thatcher and Mrs. A. B. Greos'on. Mr. and Mrs. J. J.
