Show Lapoint Mrs. Mable Jenkins Mr. and Mrs. Anther Powell and children have been visiting in Salt Lake City with Mr. Powell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Powell. Craig Caldwell and his grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, visited Mr. and Mrs. Jack Thompson in Salt Lake a few days last week. Craig's grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Emery Caldwell returned re-turned with them to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell, and other relatives. Ted McKowen was called to 1 Vernal last week to act as a I blood donor for his grandmother, I Mrs. John McKowen, who is seriously ser-iously ill. Mrs. Mae Sprousc spent the weekend in Hayden with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clive Sprouse. Mrs. Annie Warburton is vis-: iting in Clearfield with her daughter, Mrs. Lario Bywater, and in Ogden with her son, Roy Warburton. Elroy Norton, of California, and Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Norton, of Clearfield, are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Norton, Nor-ton, Mr. Norton suffered a stroke last week, but is showing im-1 provement now. Mrs. Alice Angus and sons, Dean and Reed, of Ely the, Cal-i Cal-i ifornia, are visiting her son, Floyd Angus, and children. A shower was given in the ward chapel in honor of Mr. and , Mrs. Dean Sessions. A program I j was presented and refreshments were served to sixty guests. i 1 Mrs. Caroline Thompson and Mrs. Dorothy Thompson visited Mrs. Gussie Yack in Neola, Friday. Fri-day. Dennis Yack returned with j them for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Labrum, of Roosevelt, visited here one day ; last week with Mr, and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell and a sister, I Mrs. Emery Caldwell, of Port-land, Port-land, Oregon. A parly was held last Sunday night at the home of Arda Caldwell. Cald-well. Hayden Foster's Sunday School class gave a party in the 1 ward chapel, Tuesday night. Clinton Harrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison, broke his arm, Friday. Mrs. Fred Neumeyer accompanied accom-panied her daughter, Frieda Phillips, and her mother, Mary Taylor, to Ogden for a visit. Mrs. Earl Gadd and Mrs. Bill Gadd, of Pop's Place, Colorado, visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Christenson and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lee. Mrs. Marton Davis, of Gusher, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hackford. |
