Show Golden Viedding Set For Ex-Basin Couple Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dastrup, of Ogden, will be guests of their sons and their families at an open house on the occasion of their golden wedding anniver-. sary, Wednesday, June 19. from 5 io 9 p. m.. at their home a' 852 Wood Street, Ogden. Mr., and Mrs. Dastrup were married May 14, 1902 in ths Manti LDS Temple;. A reception recep-tion followed in the Peterson Opera House in Salina, ther home town. They were early pioneers in the Uintah Basin, making- their home in Altonah and Mt. Emmons Em-mons until ' a few years ago, when they sold their beautiful I ranch home to their son, Bern- j ard. j Mrs. Dastrup was active in church organizations during her residence in this area, having served in both ward and stake positions. At the time they moved to Ogden she was stake chorister in the Relief Society organization. She was also a practical nurse and rendered a valuable service to the people in her home town and adjavent communities. Mr. Dastrup operated a blacksmith black-smith shop and mechanical repair re-pair shop in connection with his farming activities over the many years they resided in the Basin. Their sons and daughters request re-quest the pleasure of the company com-pany of their parents many Uintah Uin-tah Basin friends and neighbors neigh-bors at the Open House; The invitation in-vitation carries a foot note: "No gifts." |
