Show Marriage Vows Spoken in Home Ceremony BRIDGELAND Marriage vows were exchanged Saturday, Satur-day, Oct. 30, by Miss LuJean Jennings, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mirl Jennings, Sr. of Bridgeland, and DeVere Ostler, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ostler of Roosevelt, the ceremony cere-mony taking place at the home of the forides parents, with Bishop Carl Van Tassell officiating. offi-ciating. Following the wedding, a dinner was given by the bride's parents for the bridal group j honoring' the newlyweds. Wedding Wed-ding guests included parents of ' the bride and groom, Mrs. Mary Ostler, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mills. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. MM Jennings, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jennings, Jen-nings, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Williams and Bishop and Mrs. Carl Van TasseE. - That same evening the young couple received congratulations from a host of friends at a reception re-ception in the Bridgeland ward hall. The ibride was gowned in a ballerina length dress of nylon lace over satin, styled with a fitted bodice and long sleeves, pointed at the wrist. Her corsage cor-sage was of red roses. Mrs. Mavis Ma-vis Williams of Salt Lake City, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, and wore a black faille dress, and Miss Bertie Marie Lisohibee was the maid of honor, wearing a ballerina bal-lerina length Shell pink formal and a pink carnation corsage. Best man duties were per-formed per-formed by Shirley Williams of Salt Lake City. 'Mother of the bride chose a blue crepe afternoon dress, while the groom's mother wore purple crepe. Jr. and Mrs. Wayne Jennings, with Mrs. Ethel Taylor and Mrs. Myrl Smith directing the gift room arrangements. Wayne Jennings, brother of the Ibride, caipalbly assumed master of ceremony duties, announcing the following program: pro-gram: vocal soi'o, "Always," by Miss Bertie Marie Lisonlbee, accompanied ac-companied by Miss Joan Van Tassell; pianlo solo, Mrs. M. A. WaflJteTs; vocal solo', Matthew Foley, accompanied by Mrs. Walters; and a reading by Mrs. Gerald Bolton. The bride was a junior student stu-dent at Union High. School and the groom graduated from Union Un-ion with the class of '53. |
