Show f.lylon Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Howard Roberts left for Pro-vo Pro-vo last week upon receiving word of the death of Mrs. Robert's Rob-ert's brother, Aaron Benjamin Porter, in an automobile accident acci-dent at Thistle, to be with his wife in her bereavement. Mrs. Roberts has been attending B. Y.U. since the first of the year, on leave from her classroom duties du-ties as a member of the Myton school faculty. Mrs. Andrew Tolboe and Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe accompanied accom-panied Mrs. James Bywater and daughter, LaRee, to Prove Saturday, Sat-urday, then went to Redmond to attend funeral services fo. Amos Sophus Tolboe, 61, who died Wednesday morning at the Salina hospital of a. heart ailment. ail-ment. The deceased wgs well known here, haying frequently visited here with the Andrew Tolboe family. The American Legion and Auxiliary, Wm- Sands Post and Unit 5, held their regular buisiness meeting Friday evening eve-ning at the W, R. Harris home. Plans were made ffjr a special social meeting Friday, March 24, at the Barracks to celebrate the 31?t birthday anniversary of the American Legion, News of the death of D, L, Carmondy, a ono-time resident of Myton, has been received by friends here. Mr. Carmondy resided here for several years, attached to the U. S. Indian Irrigation Service; and will be remembered by many who lived here between 1910 and 1920. He died at the U. S. Calvin Monks returned Friday Fri-day from Salt Lake City where he had been receiving a medical med-ical check up at the Veterans hospital. |
