Show Aged Couple Celebrate Cele-brate 62nd Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary Mr and Mrs. Joseph W. Halliday Sr two of the most aged people in Pleasant Grove and pioneers of this city, celebrated their sixAy-secona wedding anniversary on May 13th at Geneva. Mr. Halliday is 84 years old and Mrs. Halliday is 80. Despite their advanced years they are alert and well inofrmed on events of the day. Mr. Halliday is confident confi-dent that the country is out of the depression and now tells of depressions depres-sions of earlier years which at times looked dark, but from which the American people always managed to emerge. Last year at the age of 83, Mr. Halliday climbed to the top of Timpanogos mountain. At Geneva the family enjoyed visiting and talking of early incidents inci-dents of the family. A picnic luncheon lunch-eon was enjoyed. The following members of the family were present: Mr. and Mrs. Ben Halliday and family fam-ily of Shelley, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Adamson arid family of American Amer-ican Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Adam-son Adam-son and family of Lehi; Mrs. Merle Coombs, Mrs. Pearl Wadley and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford L. Wright and their families of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Halliday are the parents of seven sons and daughters, eighteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. |
