Show Dunns to celebrate anniversary I i;:z; ' ;- Flora & Clay Dunn The children of Clay and Flora Dunn will honor their parents on their 50th Wedding Anniversary with an open house Sunday, May 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the new Pleasant Grove Senior Citizens' Center, 30 E. Center, Pleasant Grove. All relatives and friends, old and new, are invited. They request no gifts, please. The Dunns were married May 19, 1938, in Orem. where they lived most of their married lives. They moved to Pleasant Grove in 1977,-where they now reside. Their marriage ; was later solemnized in the Provo . LDS Temple May 25, 1985. Clay was born in Oklahoma and came to the Provo area as a young He worked in construction and helped build Deer Creek Dam before being employed at Geneva Steel for 31 years. Flora was born and raised in Orem. After the Dunns had raised their family, she was employed at ZCMI for several years. Both count their family as their number one interest. They have done a lot of camping, fishing and hunting over the years, and now enjoy traveling, friends and family. They have five children:' Annette ' Jeppson, American Fork;' Barbara Gardiner Bird, deceased; Jeff Dunn, San Diego, Calif.; Stephen and David Dunn, Castle Dale. They have 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. |
