Show FUNERAL IS HELD FOR CLARA EMILY NIELSON ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON Clara Emily Nielson, 9, died at her home in this city Sunday of Diabetis. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 p. m. in the Third Ward L. D. S. Chapel, with Bishop Joseph S. Walker Wal-ker in charge. The opening number was a vocal duet "Sometime We'll Understand" by Mrs. Ethel Carlson and Mrs. Lydia Neves, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Neves. Invocation was asked by Wm. W. Lim. This was followed by an organ solo, "Oh My Father" by Mrs. Mary Neves. First speaker was EIRay Murdock Emily's school teacher who dn representing the class told of the beautiful unassuming unas-suming life of the little girl and the lesson to be learned from their asociation with her. George Paul used as his theme, Milton's Words Our birth is but a sleep and a beginning" and gave thots on the Savior's plan of life. Bishop Walker made the closing remarks of sympathy and appreciation. appreci-ation. Closing number was a second duet, "I Think When I Hear That Sweet Story of Old" by Mrs. Carlson Carl-son and Mrs. Hilton, accompanid by Mrs. Neves. Benediction was pronounced by F. C. Shoell. Burial took place in the Pleasant Grove cemetery, where Neil F. Fugal offered the dedicatory prayer. Organ prelude and postlude was played by Mary Neves. A beautiful gesture was shown by Emily's class at school, who attended the services in a body. PJallbeaerss were Bline Nielson, Dallas Young Jimy and Don Adams She was born July 5, 1933, a daughter of Clarence and Doris Young Nielson. She attended the local schools and was a student" in the fourth grade at the time of her death. She is survived by her father and mother and the following brothers and sisters: Clarence Jr., Rex, Keitlh, and Dora of Pleasant Grove Eddie nd Blaine Nielson of Salt Lake City and a brother Leo Nielscon in the U. S army Two grand parents Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Young of Pleasant Grove also survive. |
