Show D.U.P. Camps Elect Officers The Adams camp of the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Utah Pioneers held then-regular then-regular meeting in the tabernacle, Thursday, March 14th. Captain Elizabeth McAllister was in charge-The charge-The group sang as the opening number, "Our Mountain Home so Dear," after which prayer was offered of-fered by Chaplain Elizabeth Ovard. Fae Clark sang "Out of the Dusk to You" accompanied by Mary Humphries. June Nash read "The Imaginary Invalid" followed by a solo, "Sveet Spirit Hear My Prayer", Pray-er", sung by Mrs- Myrtle Houston-Mrs. Houston-Mrs. Rose Y. Stewart, county officer, offi-cer, took charge of the election of officers which resulted as follows: Captain, Mary Anderson; first Lieutenant, Lieu-tenant, Charlotte D. Shelley; second sec-ond Lieutenant, Cynthia Okey; Secretary Sec-retary and Treasurer, Lucy Bush; Chaplains, Elizabeth Ovard and Sarah A. Shelley; Organist, Mary Humphries; Chorister, Laura Timpson; Timp-son; Historian, June S- Wright; Registrar, Mable Miller, and Parli-mentarian, Parli-mentarian, Elizabeth Coddlngton. Mrs. June S- Wright read a report re-port of the pa-st 5"ear's work and the outgoing officers were released with a vote of thanks for their services. |
