Show VOTE TODAY FOR WATER. All taxpayers of la3t year, who are citizens of the United States, and were registered voters last fall, can vote at the bond election today. The question is a simple one. The city of Ogden needs more water immediately. The water department if the improvements are made can pay $25,000 per year and pay the bonds in four years. Therefore the city government asks authority from the taxpayers to borrow $100,000 by issuing bonds to make the following improvements: improve-ments: First, to build a seepage dam in Coldwater and Wheeler canyons, to cost $20,000. Second, to build a conduit from Coldwater canyon to the new reservoir, to cost $60,000; and, Third, to build a conduit from the new reservoir to the distributive distribu-tive mains of the Ogden water system, to cost $20,000. Total, $100,000. If the city is authorized by the voting of bonds today, all of the improvements will be made before next summer, and water will be secured for all who arc desirous of having it. Every water extension asked for can be made, if the bonds are voted, and there will be plenty of water for all. Go to the polls today and vote "Yes," in order that your city may continue to grow. |
