Show Stj . DEATHS ANDFUIIERALS HOLLAND The funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte A Holland, which was announced to be held Thursday, has boon postponed and will bo held at 11 a. m. Friday at the Roy meeting house Interment In Ogden City cemetery. M'KENZIE Tho body of Mrs. Eliza Schofleld McKcnzie, who died In Evanston, Wyoming, arrived in Ogden Og-den this morning and funeral services wore held at ! o'clock this afternoon at Larkin & Sons' chapel. ECCLES A large concourse of sorrowing sor-rowing friends gathered at the Fifth Ward meeting house at 2 o'clock yesterday yes-terday afternoon to attend the solemn funeral rites for the late William E. Eccles. D. O. McKay, John Watson, David Murdock, Elder Sims, James Wotherspoon and II. C. Jacobs eulogized eulo-gized the life of the deceased brother, broth-er, reviewing his work in the church and pa Ing high tribute to his noble character. Many beautiful floral offerings of-ferings banked the altar, the mute testimonials of the esteem of a hoet of friends. Burial was made In Ogden Og-den City cemetery, Patriarch George W. Larkin dedicating the grave. CRANDALL A message announcing announc-ing the death of William II. Crandall at Metropolis, Nevada, was received by the family last evening. Mr. Crandall Cran-dall has heen in Nevada for a few weeks making improvements on his farm in that section and Wednesday evening when his son, Lawrence, left for Ogden he was apparently In perfect per-fect health. The body, accompanied by his son, Myron Crandall, Is expected ex-pected to arrive In Ogden tomorrow afternoon and will be taken to the Larkin undertaking parlors and funeral funer-al arrangements will be made. Mr. Crandall was born June 17, 1SG0, came to Weber county when a young man and resided In North Ogden and this city until the time of his death. He is survived by his ife. Rose Ber-rett Ber-rett Crandall, six sonB and two dauch-ters dauch-ters and bis mother, Mrs. Maycock. who resides at Pleasant View. CLARK Mrs. Sarah E. Clark died .at 1:30 p. m. yesterday ol general debility de-bility at the home of her son. William Wil-liam S Clark, 20-1 S Pingrcc avenre. Mrs. Clark was born In Leeds, England. Eng-land. March :50, 1823 She joined the L. D. S. church In IS 10, emigrated to Utah in 1SCS and lived for a number of years in Uintah Her son, William S. Clark, ten grandchildren and fifteen fif-teen great grandchildren survive her. The funeral will be held at 2 p m. Thursday at the Uintah meeting house. Tho casket will be open at the home of her son this afternoon and evening. Burial wll be made in Uintah Uin-tah cemetery. |
