Jon.es Bartholomew, aged 80'vears, passed awav at G o'olock last nlgjit at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mr., George Green, at Kanesville. ' Death was duo to general debility, Incident In-cident to old age. Mrs. Bartholomew was born In wal- llngsford, Conn., November 19, 1824 She was the wife of the late Davis Bartholomew and had Joined the letter let-ter Day Saints' church in the early days. With her husband she came to Utah in 1852 and settled In Slatorville where she had since resided. At the timo of her death she was visiting her daughter and becamo ill only a few days ago. The deceased is survived by the following fol-lowing sons and daughters: Henry and Merlin J. Bartholomew. Mrs. Serena Ser-ena Stanger,' Mrs. Charlotte I. Green and Mrs. Mary A. Green.
