JAPANESE TO BE HELD FOR MURDER After listening to the testimony of a half dozen witnesses, among them being the dead man's wife, a coroner's cor-oner's Jury last evening evidently decided de-cided that the evidence ws not sufficient suffi-cient for them to recommend that , George Kawshata be held for the alleged al-leged murder of Kanzo Okano. The Inquest was not without results, re-sults, however, for County Attorney David Jensen, when Informed by a Standard reporter last evening of the Jury's action, stated that he would file complaint at once and prosecute Kawshata on the grounds of having murderod the Salt Lake man. Widow's Damaging Evidence. Evidence given by Mrs. Okano is probably responsible for the dcclsiou of tho county attorney, as l was highly high-ly damaging to Kawshata and, If true, completely undermines his story of self defense. That Okano was murdered mur-dered for his money and Valuables Is the firm belier of the widow and she furnished some hitherto unpublished evidence to the effect dining her testimony yesterday. Mrs Okano is a while woman and although visibly affected by the thoughts of her recent bereavement, she displayed a remarkable composure compos-ure while on the witness stand and gave clear, unmistakable answers to every question put to her.
