Mailer Andersen, . 09, prominent Logan cnurch worner and oificia-tor oificia-tor in tne Logan temple who died Wednesday morning in a Salt Lake City hospital tollowing a major operation, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the fourth ward cnapel oy Bishop Ira N. iiayward. She was born August 20, 1874 in Harrisviiie, a aaugnter of Allen and Amanda 1'ayior Marler. She was married to Jonn M. Andersen, formerly of Lewiston on January 20, lijyy in the Logan temple. He died 22 years ago. Active throughout her life in church work, she served in the Relief Society; M. I. A. and primary pri-mary organizations and was a temple tem-ple onciator at the time of her death. She was a member of the Thomas X. bmitn tamp, Daugn-ters Daugn-ters oi Utah Pioneers. Survivors mciude the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Leatha A. Lundahl, Mrs. Minnie A. Jones and John M. Andersen, Logan; Mrs. Celia Tidwell, Van Nuys, Cal.; Mrs. De Esta Suttora, North Hollywood, Hol-lywood, Cal.; and a niece, Mrs. Delsa Layne Jenkins, TJcon, Idaho, whom she raised; 13 grandchildren grandchild-ren and the following brothers and sisters: Loran W. Marler, lewiston; Ezra. L. Marler, Independence, Inde-pendence, Mo.; Mrs. Aner Harris. Preston, Idaho, and Mrs. Oles Mor-tenson, Mor-tenson, Salt Lake City. Friends may call at the Ander-en Ander-en home, 392 North Main street, this evening from 5 to 9 p. m. and Saturday from 10 a. m. until time of services. Burial in the Lewiston cemetery will be under direction of the Kenneth Lindquist mortuary. |
