Show FRANCIS JENSEN DIES AT RUPERT, IDAHO Word was received here, Saturday ll afternoon of the death of Francis Jen-j. Jen-j. sen, native of this city, at Rupert, Ida-c Ida-c ho. Mr. Jensen was born in this city January 1st, 1865, son of Jens and Trena Jensen, lu He was married at Minersville, Utah, l June 28, 1892 to Jemima Datson. Pi He was for years engaged in the hotel business in this city, was also engaged in farming and sheep raising. He filled a mission for the L. D. S. church to Scandinavia In 1905-06. He is survived by three children: James Garner Jensen, Rupert, Idaho; Henrietta Jensen and Mrs. Paulina J. Werner, California. He left Mt. Pleasant, fifteen years ago, locating at Rupert, Idaho. Two sisters also survive: Mrs. Josephine Jose-phine Frey, Rupert, laaho and Mrs. Andrew Madsen, Spring City. .1 Funeral services for Francis Jensen ; were held from the North ward chapel, Thursday at 2 p. m. with Bishop Henry ! P. Olsen presiding. Prayers were by Christian Johan-sen Johan-sen and Joseph Seely. Music was by the choir, vocal solo, Mrs. Ed. Jensen, and vocal duet, the Misses Luella Hansen and Phyllis Hol-man. Hol-man. C. W. Sorenson and William Olson were the speakers. |
