Show NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS Mrs. A. L. Peterson and children are Salt Lake visitors this week. Mrs. E. McDonald of Ogdcn is visiting visit-ing her sister, Mrs. (). N. I'lemcnsen. Miss Alice Wratliall of Grar.tsville. Utah is sponding the week here as a guest ot Virge Johnson. A. S. Jensen came home Wednesday Wednes-day from Wyoming where he has been shearing sheep. Miss Geneve Johnson returned home Wednesday from Sonicrcet, Colorado Col-orado where she has been visiting with Dr. and Mrs. J. R. Earle. Special missionaries and appropriate appropri-ate music at every ward in the North Sanpete Stake next Sunday. Mrs. EUa Hodges and two sons returned, re-turned, Tuesday, to their home in Alaska after a two months visit with Mrs. Hodges mother, Mrs. E. Phipps and family of this city. A. James Aagard of Fountain Green came over this week and sold James Monsen, Rasmus Kasmussen. and Wm. E. Madsen each a Ford automobile. au-tomobile. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stansiield, Mr. Hyrum Christensen, Frances Christensen, Andrew Knudsen and wife. Mrs A t. T.nrcnii T onn o ..fl f,. icksen and Pearley Johnson went to Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mrs. Roy Campbell and daughter, Queenie from Long Beach, California are here visiting with Mrs. Campbell's narents, Mr. and Mrs. R. Anderson. Mrs. Campbell says she is delighted with California but must come back occasionally to dear old Utah. Judge Houtz and Mr. Forester of Salt Lake City spent a few days in he mountains east of Mount Pleasant 'his week in company with Lauritz Larsen. They were investigating some coal prospects. At some time they enjoyed bringing to the surface some of our fine mountain trout. Friday evening the two year old ;on of J. W. Sorensen went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to visit with her daughter, Ruby, who is attending summer school at that place. Mrs. Sorensen and daughter will spend a few days at Ogden with Mrs. Henri etta Ford, formerly Miss Henrietta Madsen of Manti. Gilbert Beckstrom returned to his home Wednesday after a five weeks Hay at the Winters' Hospital. While here he went through a very serious operation. Mr. Beckstrom stated to the reporter that he knew he could not live long unless the operation was oerformed. F; is greatful to Dr. and Mrs. Winters and speaks vry highly of the excellent treatment given giv-en him while there. Mrs. John Knudsen, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Burns went to Bingham Sun-Jay Sun-Jay in the sheriff's automobile automo-bile to bring ex sheriff Knudsen back o Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Knudsen has jeen in Bingham for some time as vatchman for the Utah Copper Co. ."'he sheriff and party decided it was ligh time that Mr. Knudsen be re-.urned re-.urned to his home, and hence, the rip. The party spent several days n Salt Lake City and made a short .'isit at Provo. |
