Show Death of Professor L. F. Moench Prof. L. F. Moench, who is a land owner on the South Tract and who is well known thruout this valley, having been principal princi-pal of the Millard Academy the first two years after it was built, died suddenly last Tuesday, in Ogden. Professor Moench visited Delta Del-ta about twice a year and has contributed some articles to the Chronicle's columns. He was one of the prominent educators of the state, having been connected con-nected with the L. D. S. church schools at various places in the state, at one time occupying the principal-ship of the Weber Stake Academy at Ogden. lie was buried in the Ogden cemetery ceme-tery and his funeral was attended attend-ed by many prominent educators of the state. Professor Moench will be sadly sad-ly missed by his many friends here as he was a pleasant and cheerful man to meet and an ardent booster for this valley, predicting many great advances for our county. We are all sorry sor-ry he could not have been spared a few more years to have seen more of them come to pass. |
