Show LORIN GOFF PASSES AWAY IN SALT LAKE Mr. Lorin Goff, 58, of Boulder City, Nev., formerly of Minersville, Miners-ville, passed away in the L. D. S. hospital at Salt Lake City last Saturday, July 5th. He had boon suffering from a heart ailment. Mr. Goff was born in October, 1888, at Minersville, to James and Margaret Clayton Goff. He was married in 1908 to Ethel Booth of St. George, who preceded pre-ceded him in death in 1940. Funeral services, held in the Minersville L. D. S. Chapel Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, were under the direction of Bishop Harold Baker. The program follows: Opening prayer, Clyde Hollingshead; Hol-lingshead; song, Mrs. F. D. Williams; Wil-liams; Remarks, Charles Jameson. Jame-son. Violin solo, Bishop Baker. Remarks, Frank D. Williams. Duet, Mrs. Merrill Jameson and Mrs. Alvaretta Robinson. Closing Clos-ing prayer, Marshall Hollingshead. Hollings-head. Interment was in the Minersville Miners-ville cemetery, with Jule Gillins dedicating the grave. The Relief Society served dinner to the large number of out-of-town relatives and friends who attend-1 ed the services. Included among the out-of-town relatives who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Goff of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dupe of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Gray of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Booth and daughter of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Goff of Panguitch, Mr. and Mrs. Oral Goodwin of Panaca, Mrs. Arline Meacham of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Goldie Eyre of Milford. Survivors include nine children chil-dren and one brother, Kay Goff of Ogden, Mrs. Mary Stevens of Salt Lake City, Steed Durant Goff of Woods Cross, James Goff and Mrs. Annis Zamcelloa of Boulder City, Mrs. Betty Flagg of LaPorte, Ind.; Miss Isa-bell Isa-bell Goff of Fresno, Calif.; Mrs. Colleen Gunn of Beaver and Lorin James Goff of Minersville and Alfred Goff of Bingham. |
