Show o PRICE CLUBS TAKE HAND IN GAS FRANCHISE Price Rotary Club, Price City chamber cham-ber of commerce, and Price City all were included in a group of interests filing petitions and briefs on the pending pend-ing application of John McFadyn and L. B. Denning, before the public utilities utili-ties commission yesterday. The filing of the papers Tuesday virtually completes com-pletes the case which has been hanging hang-ing fire for several months. The Price City interests take the stand in their brief that the natural natur-al gas applications are not economically economic-ally sound and that either the consumers con-sumers will have to pay a higher rate than specified by Mr. Denning or there will be no adequate return given on the invested capital. They favor denying the natural gas applications, but favor granting the applications of the artificial gas interests for expansion ex-pansion of their existing lines. Price News-Advocate. |
