He asked Lydia and being of the same opinion "she went 'WifT him." On Monday last Mr. McKendrick and Miss Wilson called to see us and their presence brought to memory the gill we left behind us. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. McKendrick called on us, the knot that made these two young people one having been ;ied at the Temple the day previous. The only person we know of who can make a success of tying ty-ing a large and a small lope is the bishop or the minister, Mr. McKendrick a handsome young man, bright, intelligent and an excellent teachei. Mrs. MnKendrick is a very beautiful young woman, with a smile and carriage that is quite charming, and she. will be greatly missed from among her large circle of admirers. Both are of a genlle and sunny disposition disposi-tion and we predict for them a bright and happy future. We congratulate the happy couple and loin their many friends in wishing them a long, peaceful ahd prosperous journey through life, and suggest that they occa sionly stop to take on passengers and that the first be of the masculine gender. |
