Show Funeral. Funeral service over the remains of the late Elizabeth Carlson, wife of Mr. N'lcls Carlson were held at the Tabernacle Taber-nacle Sunday at noon. B. M. Lewis, Bishop Thomas X. Smith and Pros. Joseph Morrell testified to the many excellent qualities of the deceased, and olTcred words of consolation to the family in their bereavement. The bm den of remarks centered around Sister Carlson's kindly disposition, her cheerful and patient endurance of trail and tribulation, and her worth as a lov Ing wife and mother. During the service the chofr sang "Nearer My Good to Thee" and "O, My Father." Fiank Baugh, accompanied by Mcsis. Geo. W. Thatcher, A. L. Farrell and B. G. Thatcher sang "The Beautiful City." Prayer was ollered by Thomas Morgan, and the benediction benedic-tion by Prcs. Isaac Smith. A very laigc number of the friends and relatives rela-tives of the deceased and family were present at the tabernacle to witness the last sad rites and show a mark of respect and love. The husband and family have the sincere sjmpathy of a laige circle. |
