Show RESOLUTION Proponing mn Amendment to Section Artlcl 13, of the ConatltnUon. Be It resolved and enacted by the Legislator of ibe Stat of Utah, two-thirds of all member thereof concurring therein: Section 1. The following' proposition to amend the Constitution of the State of Utah 1 hereby submitted to the qualified electors the State for their approval or illsapproTal aameiy: That Section 3, Article 13, of the OrnstltntiOT. of the State of Utah ahaU be amenUcd to read .as follows: Sec. 3. 'Ihe following proposition to amend the Constitution of the State of Utah la hereby submitted to the qualified electors of the State for their approval or disapproval, namely : That Section , of Article 10, of the Constitution Constitu-tion of tbe State of Utah Bball be amended to read as follows: Sec. 8. In cities of the first and second class the public school system shall be controlled by the Board of Education of such cities, separata and apart from the counties in which said oitiea are located. That section 1 of Article of tha Constitution of the State of Utah, be amended to read as follows: See. 1. The legislative power of the Stata shall be vested: 1 . In a Senate and House of Rcpresen tatlves, which shall be designated the Legislature of the State of Utah. 2. In the peoplo of the Slate of Utah, aa hereinafter stated: The legal voters, or such fractional para thereof, of the State ot Utah as may be provided pro-vided by law, under such conditions :md in such, manner and within such time as may be pro-' vided by law, may initiate any desired legislation legisla-tion and cause the same to be submitted to av vote of the people for approval or rejection, or may require any law passed by the legislature (except those laws passed by a two-thirds vote of the members elected to each house of the Legislature) to be submitted to the voters of the State berore such law shall take effect.
