Mrs. Le Beau feels that although the popped corn balls are delicious, puffed cereal is preferred for small children because there are no hulls. Making small balls saves waste and clean-u- p after the smaller children also. Everyone in the Le Beau family has a stocking custom-mad- e by i Mrs. Le Beau. When aunts and uncles come to visit for Christmas, they bring their own special stocking too. Mrs. Le Beau has a menu that she uses every year for a Christmas buffet that allows her to enjoy Christmas day and still put on a special meal. Half of a breast of turkey is frozen at Thanksgiving for the buffet. Part of the rump roast served on Christmas Eve is set aside for the buffet and ham and cheese are also added. Trays of vegetables and dips are also served along with pumper-nickl- e bread and refrigerator rolls. Kippered salmon and olives are also an important part of their traditional dinner. After enjoying the buffet,1 everyone can relax and enjoy their toys. At the Le Beaus, even the adults get one toy each Christmas, Mrs. Le Beau says the simple toys that bring back memories of childhood years like dart boards and dolls are ne joyed by adults as well as children. 1 grated carrots sugar raisins tsp. soda in 4 tablespoons sourmilk. tablespoons molasses cups flour l.tsp. each nutmeg, salt, cinnamon Vt cup nuts Mix well, put into greased mold and steam for two hours without raising lid.
