Show Jupiter program set CEDAR CITY Jupiter, the fifth planet from the sun, the largest and most massive in the solar system, will be explored by way of the December program at the Ashcroft Observatory. Ob-servatory. "Voyager Encounters with Jupiter" will be presented at 8 p.m. each Monday and Friday evening with the exception ex-ception of Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve at the Southern Utah State College observatory. Programs are free to the public. The December program deals with the most up-to-date information in-formation about Jupiter, the massive planet that orbits the sun every 11.86 years from a distance of about 483 million miles. Data collected from the unmanned U.S. Voyager missions to Jupiter provide information for the presentation. Roadway signs clearly mark the way to the observatory |
