Show f - MR. AND MRS EDMOND D. CURREY Edmond D.Currey and Shelley R. Davis exchange nuptial vows Miss Shelley Renee Davis became be-came the bride of Edmond Douglas Currey June 16. The Enchanted Garden was the setting for the wedding and for the reception which followed. Bishop Vivian F. Prince, the bride's uncle, officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Delile Davis, Kanar-ravllle, Kanar-ravllle, and the bridegroom's parents are Mr. Douglas V. Currey Cur-rey and Mrs. Barbara M. Currey, Jacksonville, Florida. The bride wore a floor-length dress of white satin covered with an overskirt of chiffon. It featured rows of ruffles down the front and was created by the bride's mother. A finger-tip veil of bridal illusion and a bouquet of 3 purple orchids and white carnations completed the ensemble. Miss Barbara Ence was maid of honor and the other attendants attend-ants were Mrs. Deborah Blake, Miss Colleen Chrlstensen, Miss Pamela Chrlstensen, Miss Rosa-, Rosa-, He Hawkins and Miss Deanna ' Prince. t The attendants wore long lavender dresses featuring a flowered overskirt. They carried nosegays of lavender carnations and white roses. Ralph Currey stood as best man for his brother while the ushering was done by Val Davis Jeff Williams, and David Ence. Mrs. Davis wore a long lavender laven-der dress with lace over it and Mrs. rurrey wore a long aqua dress. Both mothers had white orchid corsages. The bride chose a pink pants suit for her going away costume. The newlyweds honeymooned in Las Vegas and Florida. The bride Is a graduate from Cedar High in 1970 and has completed 3 years in accounting account-ing at SUSC. Mr. Currey Is a 1966 Graduate Gradu-ate of Englewood High School in Jacksonville, Florida, attended attend-ed Florida State University and recently was released from the U. S. Air Force. Prior to the wedding the bride was honored at a personal shower given by Miss Barbara Ence and Mrs. Deborah Blake. |
