Show Elaine Bringhurst, Kenneth Barney Married in St. George Temple rites in ,t T,- ysZA mi f;"fY ' ' . J ,p d r -j ' I; : " MinmJ tL- . Miss Elaine Bringhurst daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordor H. Bringhurst and Kenneth R Barney, son of Mr. and Mrs LaMar Barney exchanged vows solemnized in the St. George Temple on Jan. 8th. The couple were sealed foi time and all eternity in a double ring ceremony performed by Pres. Eliu Whatcott. Following the ceremony a dinner was given in their honor, prepared by Mrs. LaMar Barney, Mrs. Gordon Bringhurst, Mrs. Robert Twit-chell Twit-chell and Mrs. Bert Carpenter. Later that evening the couple greeted friends and rela fives at a reception at the Enchanted Gardens. The bride wore a long white dress made of satin and organza, with a high neck and long full sleeves with duffs trimmed with lace, and several layers of lace around the bottom. Attending the bride were Mrs. Lanette Bulloch, Mrs. Lynn Cardon, Miss Annet Crandall, Miss Janell Barney and Miss Janette Barney. The attendants were dressed in blue and yellow flowered dresses and carried bouquets of yellow daisies and small blue carnations, car-nations, and the bride's bouquet was made of yellow roses, blue carnations and yellow orchids. Best men were Mark Griffin and Doug Twitchell. After the reception the couple left for thier honeymoon in MR. AND MRS. KENNETH BARNEY southern Calif. The couple plan to make their home in Cedar City, where Ken is presently employed at Bradshaw Auto Parts and plans to finish school at SUSC. Elaine works at the American Bank of Commerce. |
