Show Open House Honors Newly weds Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Robinson Wade le included a wedding dinner at the Homespun in Leeds, Utah. This affair followed the ceremony and was hosted by the bride's parents. Both the bride and the bridegroom are graduates of Cedar High School. Mr. Wade has attended College of Southern South-ern Utah for two years and is presently employed at Walt's Frontier Service. He will continue con-tinue his studies at CSU fall quarter. His bride has been employed at Zion National Park this summer. Following a honeymoon trip, the couple are making their home in Cedar City. j Open house was held for i newlywods, Mr. and Mrs. Shirl Robinson Wade, who were married July 22 in a ceremony performed by Bishop Dan B. Crawford in the Cedar Fourth Ward Chapel. The nuptial affair took place Saturday, August 5, in the relief re-lief society of the Fourth Ward. For the occasion, the bride, the former Miss Carol Lee Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Gardner, wore an off-white street-length lace cago-over-crepe sheath. Special Spe-cial back interest was created by a bowed, square neckline atop a drift of soft gathers. A corsage -of phalaenopsis orchids or-chids accented the dress. Maid of honor was Miss Kathy Munt'ord, who wore a yellow crepe street-length dress of baby doll style. The dross featured orange tram which blended with a corsage of orange glamilias. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was his brother, broth-er, Kenneth Wade. Ushers were brothers of the couple, Michael Gardner and LaVar Wade. Richard Gardner was gift bearer. The bride's mother wore a street-length green lace-over- crepe sheath with a corsage of white glamilias while the bridegroom's mother wore a street-length green jersey dress with accenting white glamelia corsage. Assisting with the open house was Margaret Wade, sister sis-ter of the bridegroom, who attended at-tended the guest book, Mrs. Kenneth wade, Mrs. LaVar Wade, and Miss Judy Wade, who acted as gift room hostesses. hos-tesses. Serving were Cheri Gardner, Sue Ellen Williams, Kathryn Rowley, Sheri Major, Cathy Overson and Cheryl Nelson. They were under the direction of kitchen hostesses, Mrs. Alvin Bradshaw, Mrs. Cluff Jolley, Mrs. Jerry Bryant, Bry-ant, Mrs. John A. Bauer and Mrs. Reeve Robinson. Nuptial parties for the coup- |
