Sanders, Cedar City, exchanged marriage vows In a doubie-r'.ng ceremony performed at the St. George LDS Temple Saturday, .May 18, with President Rudger Atkin performing perform-ing the ceremony. The bride Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mari-on F. Prince, New Harmony, and the bridegroom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Sanders, Hurricane. The bride is a graduate of Cedar City High School and has been employed at the Credit Bureau Bu-reau of Southern Utah In Cedar City and has been an u'ive member of the Cedar City Uusl-ness Uusl-ness and Professional Women's Club. The bridegroom is a graduate of Hurricane High School, Dixie College and the University of Utah. He is a registered pharmacist phar-macist and is employed at Cowley Cow-ley Drug In Cedar City. The young couple were honored hon-ored at a reception at the New Harmony Ward Chapel Saturday evening, after which they left on a week's honeymoon trip to northern Utah and southern Idaho. Ida-ho. M the reception the bride wore a or-length dress of lace and tu.j, underscored with taffeta. It featured long pointed sleeves and sabrina neckline. Her veil of illusion was of finger-tip length with pearl tieara. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white stephonotis. Mrs. Lana Jean Grant, 9 sister of th hrlHv w; Matron . H(?!V or; Maid of Honor was Miss Kar-la Kar-la Hulet and Marilyn S. Prince, sister-in-law, of Miss Laureda Prince, Maids of Honor. The attendants at-tendants wore gowns of aqua brocaded taffeta sheath dresses, and they wore pink and white carnations. Flower girls were Kathleen Sanders and Jacqueline Grant, dressed in aqua embroidered embroi-dered organdy. The bride's mother chose a two-pience blue dress, and the bridegroom's mother a blue print dress. Bothe wore corsages of pink and white carnations. Jerry Graff was best man for the biiiegrooRi and ushers were Paul F. Prince and Lowell Prince. Helping In ' the kitchen was Edna Prince, Gwen Davis, Vada Grant, and Sylvia Hall. Serving were Annette Prince, Carol Petty and Verlene Kelsey. An Interesting program was given gi-ven with Gerald W. Prince, brother bro-ther of the bride acting as master mas-ter of ceremonies. Avey Davis was at the piano and Helen Or-ton Or-ton at the book. In charge of the gift room were Vilo Pearce, Clara Grant and Elaine Jones. Gift bearers .were Velda Grant, Shelley Davis and Deanna Prince. The newlyweds will be at home in Cedar City after May 27th. |
