CARL KIRTLET Early this week Mr. and Mrs. Chester Smith of Cedar City announced an-nounced the recent marriage of their daughter Linda Jo Smith to Carl L. Kirtley. Mr. Kirtley is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon C. Kirtley, also of Cedar City. The Klrtleys are formerly of Challis, Idaho. Linda Jo departed October 7 via airlines for destination Puerto Puer-to Rico where she was greeted by her husband. The couple were wed in San Juan, Puerto Rico, October 9th by a Justice of the Peace during a double ring ceremony. cere-mony. For the occasion Linda chose a white brocaded wedding dress in sheath style with three-quarter length sleeves and matching jacket. Accessories In harmony with the bridal dress completed the ensemble. The new Mrs. Kirtley is a graduate grad-uate of the Cedar City High School. Carl is also a graduate of the Cedar City School, He served a tour of duty with the United States Army and was stationed In Germany. He rcrided In Alaska where he worked with Boyles Drilling Company. Currently Cur-rently employed with Boyles, he and his bride are now living In Utuado, Puerto Rico and expect to be their for at least one year. |
