Show I Wedding Bells. A wedding at which Rev. P. A. Phillips Phil-lips officiated last Monday morning was that of Miss Marie Frances Barron, Bar-ron, daughter of W. V. Barron of Louisville, Colo., and Colonel Gerald Waterman of Denver. The young people peo-ple are going to be at home at 11G3 Delaware De-laware street. The wedding was a quiet one on account ac-count of an accident with which the bride met en Saturday. While driving to church at Louisville for the purpose of going to confession, the buggy missed the edge of a bridge and she was thrown violently out. She was found unconscious and for some time concussion of the brain was feared. 1 I Announcement was made Saturday evening of the engagement of Miss Agues Ag-ues Roberts and AVallace J. Ferry of Kansas City. While Miss Roberts more properly belongs to Independence, Mo., ilian to Dnver, this city claims her by reason of her frequent visits here and . the prominence of her relatives In this community. The engagement was announced an-nounced at a dinner at which her sister. sis-ter. Mrs. Frank Ashley, was hostess. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Preston Pres-ton Roberts of Denver and the niece of Mrs. Caldwell Yeaman and Mrs. Charles McAllister Willeox, both prominent prom-inent members of the Cathedral parish, Denver. The dote for the wedding- has not been set. Mrs. Ferry is a newspaper news-paper man of Kansas City. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Swikerath have announced the engagement of their sister. Miss Agnes Marguerite Swikerath, Swike-rath, to Clarence Nathan Stover. The wedding will take place in Lugan Avenue Ave-nue chapel with nuptial mass Wednesday, Wednes-day, Aug. 21. Rev. P. A. Phillips last week officiated officiat-ed at the wedding of Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Giblin of Baker City, Ore., and Arthur Culver Wagery of Cripple Cre'.'k. The wedding was very quiet and was performed at the parochial residence re-sidence on Logan avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Wagery left immediately for Cripple Creek, where tker will make their home. |
