Show Obituary. Doolan. Robert O. Doolan, son of J. P. Doolan died at Los Angeles last week of heart trouble. Mr. Doolan was 22 years of age and was a man of excellent character. char-acter. The sympathy of many friends is extended to the bereaved family. McElrojr. . , The news of the death of Dr. R. L. McElroy caused the deepest sorrow and regret in the hearts of the hundreds who knew and loved him. Following so clcsely after the death of Dr. Fowler the friends of both physicians feel the bereavement doubly. Dr. McElroy was one of the best known physicians of Salt Lake. He came to this city about four years i ago from St. Louis, Mo., and became I associated with Dr. Allen Fowler. He was also one of the surgeons of the Holy Cross hospital and had an enviable en-viable reputation in Salt Lake as a physician and surgeon. He was a member of the Elks' lodge and stood high in the order. To the Sisters of the Holy Cross hospital hos-pital his death is a great loss. Always courteous and gentle to everyone, he was still more considerate to the Sisters. Sis-ters. The kindest memories of him will ever linger in their hearts. It was a source of much consolation to the good Sisters and many other dear friends to know that Dr. McElroy died a member of the Catholic chun. Last summer when he first became seriously ill he expressed a wish to become a Catholic. Sister Superior of the Holv Cross hospital accompanied by one of the Sisters went immediately to Portland Port-land to visit him. He was baptized at the St. Vincent's hospital In that city. Dr. McElroy was , a noble hearted, genial gentleman and the sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved relatives. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace! |
