The young woman is unconscious and dying and details of the quarrel which preeeded the shooting are incomplete. Members of Miss Henderson's family think that Lang asked the girl to accompany him to an entertainment, was refused and shot her, believing that she preferred the company of another admirer. The couple were walking along the street when Lang suddenly drew a revolver from his pocket and shot her three times One bullet entered the neck, another pierced the breast and the third went into the back as the girl fell to the pavement. As the girl fell Lang pressed the muzzle of the gun to his temple and pulled the trigger twice The first bullet grazed the scalp and the second penetrated the brain. tt i i ath ee |
