Speaking of the donated cleanup kits, Annette Bratke, missions Chair, The missions committee of the First Baptist Church, Bountiful, made First Baptist Church, Bountiful, said, It was obvious to me that the persons that put these kits together did so with a lot of care and generosity. I was proud to send such nice items to the Midwest and think that the recipients cannot help but be impressed with the good will that is reflected from the people of Utah. In sending the kits to CWS, Bratka stated in her letter, Along with these kits, which are a response to a physical need, we send our prayers that these flood survivors will feel the presence of God in their midst while they go about the task of rebuilding their lives.
