For your information it may be stated that as a finr.l result of the benefit, a considerable amount of supplies will be needed, and which of you, if any, are entitled to this business? Mr. Parent or Parents Someone is showing a great deal of interest in your boys both present and future. Is it fair to the boys that you should show this lack of interest? It is not fair, when a boy is willing to do as your boys are doing, to help themselves them-selves without YOUR support. Do you not realize that your presence, when he Is doing his level best to help himself, with him, will inspire him to an even greater effort. Your absence was also noticeable. Mr. Sportsmen You have been heard to express yourselves in no uncertain un-certain language, concerning certain of our public officials. They were there; you were not. Now who is the best sport? THERE means the only real sporting event Milford has had the opportunity to see for some time past. Business men, parents and sportsmen sports-men There are none of you that enjoy en-joy being solicited for a contribution and it should he appreciated by all, the fact that the Milford Boy Scouts are trying so hard to raise the fund? necessary to take them to their annual an-nual summer outing, without seeming seem-ing to be a burden upon us, and they, have adopted this means of raising funds, fully believing that they are giving full value to you for the price of admission. To the ladies, the professional men, the few parents and good sportsmen that were there, including the kiddies, kid-dies, the management, as well as the boys that participated wish to thank them one and all for their hearty applause ap-plause and appreciation of their efforts ef-forts to please Contributed. |
