Show ADAMSVILLE NEWS Mr. and Mrs. John Poarce have been very 111 the past week, but are now on the improve. A number of Adamsville people attended the Relief Society dance given on Friday evening at Greenville. Green-ville. Mr. John G. Evans visited the family fam-ily of J. M. Griffiths, of Mlnersville, the latter part of last week, while on a business trip. A number of men and teams are working on the road from the dam to Adamsville, picking out rocks and filling fil-ling in the ruts. The work is being directed by J. L. Griffiths, state road agent. Sunday afternoon the Theological seminary club, under the direction! of Prof. Cornwall, gave a most excellent ex-cellent program during the afternoon after-noon meeting The speachea and th songs were much enjoyed by the unusually un-usually large audience. Little Ronald Johnson has been quite ill during the past week from a bad cold. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Cutler and part of their family made a hurried trip to Paragoonah Sunday. Mrs. David Poarce has .been ill for several days. We hope to see her out again soon. Members of the Adamsville ward are expressing themselves with deep appreciation for the visit of Bros. Frank Harris and George Parkinson. These brethern were missionaries here last week. We welcome Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thom-as Jones and family from Fielding, Utah, who are here visiting friendf-. and relatives. The Stewart family, who have been on the sick list," are all able to be up and around again. Many of the farmers here are driving driv-ing their cattle to the summer range, where they expect them to graze for several months. |
