Show 1 ROY SCOUT POW-AVOW The Fourth Annual Boy Scout powwow pow-wow will convene April 4, 5 and 6 at the University of Utah, during which the scouts will enjoy the campus and the equipment of the State institution. institu-tion. Professor Frederick W. Renolds director of the Extension division at the University, has completed arrangements ar-rangements for the most elaborate program ever offerede the scouts. The three day courses will be arranged ar-ranged in a ' manner to enable the boys to satisfy certain requirements made of them to qualify for various merit badges. Almost every line desired will be offered at the pow-wow. Following are some of the subjects that will be presented: Trees, Lifesaving, Wireless, Public Pub-lic Health Service, Letter Writing. Surveying, Forestry and Conservation. Conserva-tion. In addition to the numerous courses cour-ses offered there will be various entertainments en-tertainments that will afford added interest in the affair. In the past the University campus has been crowded with eager boys, who have seemed to be particularly appreciative of Che opportunity. According Ac-cording to reports reaching headquarters head-quarters ,the intrest in this year's pow-wow will be greater than ever. |
