Show SPORT To the lovers of good1, clean athletics, ath-letics, that were in attendance at tho Boy Scout show. Friday night, it must be stated that they got their money's worth. It was not a knock-down and drag out affair, but the real good mixing and action, is was hard to beat. We are not predicting any Demp-seys Demp-seys or Wilsons or Villas, but we will state that they never didpossess any more of the fighter's heart than some of our boys. Regardless of what they run into, they come right back for some more of the same kind and come back with something themselves them-selves for the other fellow, and they usually deliver. Charles Glenn was the third man in the ring, and it is only by good foot-work on his part that he did not get the worst of it in several of the bouts. There were six events as follows: Allen Tanner vs. Joe Meyers, wrest ling. Ned Marksheffel vs. August Nichols, Nich-ols, boxing. ! Joe Kelley vs. Billy Ransom, box-, box-, ing. ! Everett Bryans vs. Glenn Hatton, boxing. j Clyde Tanner vs Spike Limb, boiling. boi-ling. j David Asmitage vs. Hlsshel Weiss, boxing. 1 A good card is already being made up for next week. Remevber at the opera house every ev-ery Friday night at 8 o'clock sharp. |
