Show The voting franchise is not only a privilege it is a duty, and i r is a duty that is too often neglected even by people who would lik to be knewn as good citizens. No one who. has failed to register an to vote can consistently "kick" against existing laws or conditions. Ii orderi to vote, one must register in accordance with the laws so provide and it is in the matter of registration that the greatest carelessnea is observed. Those who have fulfilled the conditions as to naturalization tenure of residence, and other requirements, should see to it that thei i names are placed on the regiitry of the precinct wherein they will vote The NEWS gives elsewhere in this issue, the dateB on which registra tions may be made, and as soon as complete lists of registration agent are received from the County Clerk, said lists will be published.
