Show - iVI I ( ! v Wright-Baker nuptials told Mr. and Mrs. Derral W. Wright, Beaver announce the marriage of their daughter, Jo Ann, in the St. George Temple on May 4, 1979 to Kenneth E. Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon R. Baker, also of Beaver. The ceremony binding the couple through eternity was performed per-formed by President A.E. Whatcott. The bride chose a long satin dress with gathered sheer overskirt, full sheer sleeves with wide satin cuffs and high lace collar. The veil was finger tip lace and sheer, held by a beaded pearl cap. Matron of Honor for Miss Wright was the groom's sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Dan (Bonnie) Moore. She was also attended at-tended by Mrs. Ho ward (Vickie) (Vic-kie) Allred, Mrs. Kevin (Shirlene) Wilden, and Miss Lisa Wright, all sisters of the bride, and Miss Cheri Cahoon. Mr. Baker was attended by Pat Baker, as his best man. Ushers were Robert Baker, Ronald Baker, Howard Allred Al-lred and Kevin Willden. Flower girls were Angela Allred and Sheina Willden. Ring Bearers were Robbie Baker and Michael Baker. The bride is a graduate of Beaver High School and attended at-tended Southern Utah State College for two years. Mr. Baker also graduated from Beaver HighSchool and attended the University of Utah. He served a mission for the LDS Church in Norway. A lovely reception was , held on Saturday, May 4, at the Beaver 3rd-4th Ward Cultural Hall. Dancing and a lovely program were enjoyed en-joyed by the many guests in attendance. John Kerksiek, of the Greenville Ward Bishopric was the master of ceremonies. After a short honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Payson. |
