Show Bertha Wood Evans Funeral services for Be.-tha Wood Evans, 77, win died in the Beaver County Hosp.al Miy 23 were conducted Tussckv,- afternoon after-noon in the Minersville L D S Chapel, under direction of Bishop Marshall HolHngshead. Speakers were Virgene Jameson, Jame-son, Bishop Terry and Floyd Wood. Musical numbers were by David Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker. Prayers were by Clarence Corbridge and Merrill Jameson, and the grave in the Minersville Cemetery was dedicated dedicat-ed by Roy Myers. Mrs. Evans was born July 4, 1881. ei Minersville, a daughter of William . and Ann Eyre Banks Wood. She married Thomas Syl-"inus Syl-"inus Evans on March 1, 1899, at Beaver. The marriage of solemnized solemn-ized in the St. George Temple on March 11, 1924. Mr. Evans died May 8, 1949. Surviving are four chidlren, Mrs. Wanda Corbridge and Arshel Evans, Minersville; Duard Evans, Milford; and Willard Evans, Wichita, Wich-ita, 'Kansas; a grandchild whom she raised, Howard Sherwood of American Fork; one brother and one sister, George .Wood of Minersville Min-ersville and Mrs. Nellie Erickson of Los Angeles; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. |
