Show 1939 Beaver County Fair at ilford, Sept M-15-1S . a Substantial progress tovard Beaver county's 1939 fair at Milford. was recorded this week with the securing of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, September 14-15-16, as the dates for this biggest event in Milford's recent history, and the completion of committee personnel appointments. J. D. Ryan, one of the livest workers for a successful fair at Milford this' year and who contributed heavily in time and energy toward the success of the fair last year at Beaver, attended the annual meeting of the Utah Fair association as-sociation Wednesday and wired to D. E. Kirk, general chairman, chair-man, the dates he had secured, which are considered highly satisfactory from all points of view. These dates give a splendid lineup for racing horses, starting with the annual Onion festival at Payson over Labor day. The Sevier county fair will be held the week-end of Labor day and a four-day leeway is allowed for the trip from Richfield to Milford, the setup being such that the best horses in the state, along with several from Nevada and and Idaho, will no doubt be on hand. Enlarged committees for various activities connected with the fair have been appointed and all those named are expected to be in attendance at a general meeting to be held SATURDAY NIGHT, MARCH 25, at 8 O'CLOCK, at the Milford Mil-ford high school. The committees follow: General D. E. Kirk, Chairman; ' J. C. Root, SecretaryrTreasurer; Walker Finlirison, V. Waddoups, Vr, TVT "Rnvnc Assistant' E. R. Uv... TMV1 TrlA.a T.aocJnrr Moody, J.
