Show M SOUTHMILFORD Marion Walker, husband of Mrs. Jannett Rollins Walker, returned from Henders-en, Kentmcky, last week to make his home here with his wife and ibaby. County Assessor James Rollins was confined to his bed a few days, suffering from kidney trouble. Mrs. Nela Cates and Mrs. R. W. j Jones entertained the Social Hour club Thursday of last week. Those present were Mrs. Bb Tanner, Mrs. Clair Gillins, Mrs. Horace Cor-bridge, Cor-bridge, Mrs. Katherine Heslington, Mrs. Morgan Griffiths, Mrs. Karl Elmer, Mrs. Leonard Bowen, Mrs. Kent Smith and Mrs. Ivan Mc-Knight. Mc-Knight. Mrs. Jennie Bowen gave a report on socialized medicine, and a contract sent by Mrs. Wells was read and is to be considered at the next meeting. Mrs. Wells is in charge of the home manage-. jnent division of rehabilitation. The purpose of this discussion is to have better medical care at t minimum cost per family. Delicious Deli-cious refreshments were served. i"he table was beautifully dscorat- ed with green and yellow, Irish as well as the club colors. , A very tasty two-course luncheon lunch-eon was served by Mrs. Carl Elmer Saturday evening to members of the Community club. Those present pre-sent were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gospill, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Weber, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan McKnight and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elmer. The evening was spent playing "500' and Hop Ghong checkers.
