Show CKRISTIANJSCIENCE ' "Substance" is the subject of the lesson-sermon to be read by the Christian Science Society in Milford Mil-ford on Sunday, March 12. The Golden Text is: "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase" (Proverbs 3: 9). I Among the selections from the Bible are the following: "For we , know that if our earthly house ol . this tabernacle were dissolved, we j have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in : the heavens. Wherefore hence-I hence-I forth know we no man after the flesh" (II Corinthians 5: 1, 16). j Passages from "Science and Health with Key .to the Scrip-; Scrip-; tures" by Mary Baker Eddy in-! in-! elude the following: "The off- spring of God start not from matter mat-ter or ephemeral dust. They are in and of Spirit, divine Mind, and so forever continue (p. 267). Man is not absorbed in Deity, and man cannot lose his individuality, for he reflects eternal Life; nor is he an isolated, solitary idea, for he represents infinite Mind, the sum of all substance" (p. 259).
